Michael Palij MW

Michael Palij was born in Canada and lives in the UK but he is now, at heart, an Italian and visits the country more than 20 times a year. His expert knowledge and guidance ensure that his company, Winetraders, imports and sells the finest Italian wines in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Norway, Canada, Sweden, Barbados, Japan, and Australia.

Michael is also acknowledged to be one of the UK's finest wine tutors. A Master of Wine since 1995, he very much enjoys educating others in the enjoyment and appreciation of fine wines and his education company, Winematters, now has branches in the UK, Ireland, and the Caribbean.

The combination of an encyclopaedic knowledge of Italy with many years' teaching experience is what makes WineWays, unique. It allows a select group of wine enthusiasts to spend time with Michael, sharing his passion for the vines of Italy, and enjoying the delightful company of the men and women who make unforgettable wines from them.
